Meditation and Spirituality

Few could know just 30 years back that there will be a time when unfathomable bytes of internet data will talk, dance, sing and what not on our devices. Our life is pertinently influenced by this content no matter where we live, what we do or what we believe. Artificial Intelligence is no longer a prophecy, it has already knocked our doors and what meaning it will give to our life ahead is something we have started imagining.

In such an era of virtual free bucket lists the teaching and wisdom of our three scriptures Upanishads, Brahma Sutras and Bhagavad Gita, that were told and retold from the time immemorial are available to access such that their revelation are applicable to these times, are a pragmatic acceptance and can run as parallel lanes with the main road being the human centric humanity.

While the Jeeva has moved on and not moved on at the same time it seems spirituality is back with new colors in our lives adding a dominant dimension on the Internet. Our three scriptures; that some have read them, some solved them, some claim to understand and translate them, some authenticate them, and some endorse them with authority offer more or less the same essence of truth that are now told to us by our gurus, motivators, religious leaders and so on in different ways, languages and styles.

The seeking of liberation, self-realization, enlightenment, Nirvana, Moksha have become believable, doable and achievable for almost all. It’s interesting to emphasize that counter offered Sadhana and meditation; seeking then experiencing a no mind state of mind with a relaxed body supporting the event, de-conditioning the conditioning while observing the breath and so on has made people genuinely so blissful, special, extra ordinary and even enlightened with a session. Living in a state of such happiness one may not want to exit this Circle of Life at all, neither make plans going any sooner to the creator while being happy this life and next life, even look forward to being born again and again if there is any again and thanking the Supreme Being every moment.

The story changes when it comes to the pain, misery and helplessness this life throws upon us, one is asked to forget and let all go with new friendlier internet spaces, metas, The AI and verses available, then anyways this agony is not real and this could be a delusion created by Maya and we being just a sand grain in this eternal universe, everything happening around is ephemeral, knowing that end of the day it’s just here and now, while knowing the very purpose of life by asking “who am I” to no other but self as self is Aham Brahsmi and the sound it coheres is Om that destroys the Ego and attachment with the pure consciousness guiding the way that is not the body and the mind and the atman with paramatman that is the only absolute truth and nothing but the truth. Understanding this much will require hypnosis.

I feel during meditation the brain cannot ask itself to stop working and if it has stopped working already then who knows this? That who is the conscious or a more intelligent brain. When it’s felt during sadhna there is peace and joy and when out of Sadhna one stops to find meaning of life or seek enlightenment but just observes whatever is happening around. It’s funny that no internet or a second party is needed to make this happen. It’s quite a simple phenomenon.
